ALEX LEWIS
senior consultant
PhD at the Lancaster Environment Centre, concentrating on the use of remote sensing to schedule irrigation in potato crops. Since 2012 she has been working as an ecological consultant, focusing on both conservation and development related projects. Alex is licensed to survey for great crested newts and has helped co-ordinate some large-scale wildlife and habitat surveillance projects in recent years.
She joined the Harvey Hughes team at the start of 2017 and undertakes various work including developing Mid-Tier Countryside Stewardship applications and various protected species surveys.
In her spare time she enjoys walking, cycling, netball and baking and likes to help out on the family farm when she can.
