After his graduation from Harper Adams Agricultural College in 1997, Chris began working for Genus Plc as an Agricultural Consultant, based in the South of the Country and in 2000, he joined the company formerly known as ABD.

His specialist areas are dairy and livestock as well as managing forage and fodder crop enquiries and projects. He prepares whole farm plans which include working on financial and environmental factors, as well as nutritional and animal husbandry matters.

Chris has been the business owner of Harvey Hughes Ltd for 14 years now, and heads up the company’s agricultural planning division, where he undertakes many applications for both local authorities and private clients and more recently has been working on the development of NVZ strategies for dairy farms.

He is FACTS qualified and a member of the British Institute of Agricultural Consultant (BIAC)
