After graduation from Harper Adams Agricultural College, Chris began working for Genus Plc as an agricultural consultant, based in the South of the Country. In 2000, Chris joined Howard in the company formerly known as ABD. Chris is a dairy and livestock specialist with extensive experience of forage and fodder crop situations. He prepares whole farm plans, including financial and environmental factors, as well as nutritional and animal husbandry matters.

He has a detailed understanding of farm business support regimes and Agricultural planning appraisals. He undertakes strategic business planning, business management and appraisals and can work with you in preparation of farm diversification and environmental grant applications.

He heads up the company’s agricultural planning division, and has undertaken many applications for both local authorities and private clients.

Chris has been asked in many instances to give his expert opinion on agricultural and NVZ matters. Including, ruminant nutrition, alternative income streams (diversification), rental tenders and farm assessment for purchasers.

More recently he has been working on the development of NVZ strategies for dairy farms.

Chris is FACTS qualified and a member of the British Institute of Agricultural Consultant (BIAC).
