Jack grew up on a family farm based in Staffordshire where he gained invaluable practical experience.

He studied at the Royal Agricultural University and during placement year he worked on a number of dairy, mixed beef and sheep farms. In 2015 Jack graduated with a degree in Agriculture and Farm Management and shortly after joined a consultancy firm based in Cambridgeshire covering a range of grant schemes including diversifications such as wedding venues and holiday lets to veg processing lines. He has worked on farm estates with particular focus on farm subsidies including BPS, CSS and SFI throughout the UK. He has also worked with a series of stakeholders to launch large scale environmental schemes across mixed farming enterprises.

Jack specialises in farm management including monitoring of budgets and cash flows, along with debt management and new lending requests. He works with partnership restructures and contract Farming Agreements whilst also chairing three dairy discussion groups based in Cheshire.

Outside of work he enjoys travelling, camping, converting his campervan and a trip to the pub!
